1. General provisions

The purpose of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as: Policy) is to define the terms and conditions of the processing, collection and protection of personal data used by us, to indicate the rules for the use of cookies, as well as to define the rules for the use of the website www.se-domiter.pl (hereinafter referred to as: Website).

The controller of the personal data is Natalia Panuś-Domiter and Marcin Domiter, partners of the civil partnership under the name SALINAS ENTERPRISES Natalia and Marcin Domiter s.c. with its registered office in Tarnowo Podgórne (62-080), ul. Wenecka 2C / CM-3, NIP [tax identification number]: 781-188-24-28, REGON [statistical number]: 302315260.

As the Controller, Salinas Enterprises pays particular attention to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal data processed in connection with its business activities.

Salinas Enterprises uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of the personal data processed. We protect personal data from being made available to unauthorised persons as well as from being processed in violation of applicable regulations.

Your personal data are processed by the Controller in compliance with the law in particular pursuant to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as: GDPR).

Personal data collected by Salinas Enterprises shall be:

  • processed in accordance with the law;
  • collected for designated lawful purposes;
  • adequate and limited to the purpose of the processing;
  • corrected and updated as necessary;
  • stored for no longer than it is necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing;
  • processed in a manner that ensures adequate security.

2. Technical requirements

In order to use the Website it is necessary to have a device with access to the Internet and correctly configured web browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge.

3. Rules of using the Website

A user is an individual using the Website, including an entity for which Salinas Enterprises provides translation or language training services (hereinafter referred to as: User).

The User is obliged to use the Website in accordance with the provisions of law and good practice, including also taking into account intellectual property rights.

The User is obliged not to undertake any actions that would affect the correct operation of the Website. It is prohibited to post unlawful content on the Website.

4. Personal data processing rules

Salinas Enterprises within the provision of translation and language training services, obtains personal data primarily directly from its Users.

Salinas Enterprises obtains personal data, in particular, in terms of:

  • contact information, including business contact information (such as name, correspondence/business address, e-mail and telephone number);
  • information required for VAT invoices, bills (such as VAT, REGON);
  • content provided (such as official documents, private documents).

5. Purposes and grounds for processing personal data and categories of data processed

We process your personal data for the purpose of:

  • providing services by electronic means in terms of providing Users with access to content published on the Website (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
  • carrying out statistics and analyses in order to improve the activities carried out by the Controller, and to ensure the security of the Website (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), and which is a legitimate interest of the Controller;
  • defence against claims made (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), and which is a legitimate interest of the Controller;
  • establishing contact and carrying out the recruitment process in connection with submission of your application documents (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

We process the following categories of your personal data:

  • IP address or other identifiers and information collected through cookies or other similar technologies;
  • in the event of a complaint submitted in connection with the use of the Website, the personal data and/or contact details provided in the claims form.

In addition, Salinas Enterprises processes the data of Users regarding which it provides translation or language training services within the following purposes:

  • performance of a contract – in the case of the conclusion of a contract for the provision of translation or language training services (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
  • performance of a contract – in the event that a contract for the provision of services is concluded between Salinas Enterprises and the entity on whose behalf the User acts; in which case the data processed are: name, telephone number, email address; and which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  • establishing communication or cooperation and direct marketing, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR);
  • business-related communications in connection with contacting Salinas Enterprises by email, contact form or telephone based on the contact details provided on the Website (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  • archival purposes for the preservation of information in the event of a legal need to prove facts, and which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR); including the possible establishment, investigation or defence of claims, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

6. Recipients of personal data

The recipients of your personal data may be business partners (e.g. subcontractors), technological partners (e.g. providers of IT services, marketing tools), logistics partners (e.g. courier companies) and organizational partners (e.g. accounting companies, accounting firms), as well as government bodies or other entities entitled on the basis of generally applicable law.

7. Transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations

The transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area or to international organisations may only take place in the cases and under the conditions provided for in the applicable legislation, e.g. if the European Commission determines that the third country or international organisation concerned ensures an adequate level of protection.

8. Period of personal data storage

The period of personal data processing depends on the purpose and legal basis of the processing.

Data processed for the purpose of performing an agreement covering the provision of services electronically will be processed for the duration of the provision of that service, in this case the use of the Website.

Personal data obtained through the contact form and other channels or addresses indicated for the communication will be processed for the duration of the communication or until an objection to the processing is made, but no longer than 6 months from the date of the last contact, unless another legal basis for the processing of personal data applies.

The clients’ personal data will be processed for the duration of the contract, and after that period for the time necessary to comply with the law and to establish, exercise or defend against possible claims, but no longer than 6 years from the expiry or termination of the contract entered into with Salinas Enterprises.

Personal data processed for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations of the Controller will be processed for the period resulting from the relevant legal regulations.

Personal data collected for the purposes of recruitment will be processed for the duration of the recruitment process, and if you consent to the processing of data for the purposes of future recruitment, they will be stored until your consent is withdrawn. 

9. Your rights

In relation to our processing of your personal data, subject to the exceptions provided by law, including the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • the right to access your data and receive their copy;
  • the right to rectify (correct) your data;
  • the right to erase data;
  • the right to restrict data processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to data processing;
  • the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data where personal data are processed on the basis of your consent (withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of your consent).

If you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Authority (address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

10. Voluntariness of providing data

Providing personal data by you is voluntary. However, if you do not provide data that are necessary, e.g. for specific purposes, this may prevent us from taking appropriate action.

11. Information on automated processing and profiling

Your personal data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be profiled.

12. Cookie files

The website uses cookies, which are small data files (mainly text files) that are stored on the User’s equipment. Cookies usually contain the name of the website where they originate from, duration of their storage on the end user’s device and their unique number. They are not used to process or store the User’s personal data. They may not be used to directly identify you or any other user.

We use necessary and functional cookies on our Website in order to:

  • collect analytical data that helps us to ensure the performance of the Website and to understand how you and other users use our Website;
  • ensure the proper functioning of the Website, including optimising the use of the Website.

The User’s web browser – without appropriate configuration – allows the uploading of all types of cookies by default. Users of the Website may change their cookie settings at any time.

13. Changes of Privacy Policy

The Policy is reviewed on an ongoing basis and updated as necessary, which is the Controller’s right. Among other things, the modifications are intended to address changes in Salinas Enterprises’ practices regarding the handling of personal data and to strengthen the data protection regime.

The current version of the Privacy Policy is effective as of 23.07.2023.

14. Claims procedure regarding the use of the Website

Claims can be submitted to the following email address: kontakt@se-domiter.pl. We deal with complaints within 14 days of their submission by the User. Information on the handling of the complaint will be communicated to the User at the e-mail address indicated by the User or by any other means indicated by the User. If we are not able to identify the person lodging the complaint or determine the content of the request, we will ask the User lodging the complaint for additional information.
